Immortelle– a well-known Mediterranean plant that grows in rocky ground that few plants can survive. It called “liquid gold from nature”. It has only recently started to be used in cosmetics, although it is a well-known plant in Dalmatia. Its most important effect is anti-aging. It erases traces of time, fights wrinkles and revitalises the skin. It also fights bacteria that cause gall bladder and biliary duct infection. It also has an antibacterial effect on all the glands in the gastrointestinal tract, and especially the pancreas. In some Mediterranean countries, it is used frequently as a popular remedy for skin conditions, head colds and asthma, and often as a diuretic.
